AGM Jamaica 50 | Significance of Celebrations

For Jamaica 50, the celebration of Jamaica’s 50th Anniversary of independence, the Art Gallery of Mississauga is honoured to have Contemporary Jamaican Art, circa1962 | circa2012, a visual art exhibition to commemorate the celebration.

During the installation, the AGM asks cultural producers involved with the exhibition the following question:

What does Jamaica 50 mean to you?
